In my previous blog, I had carried out a detailed review of VU's premium UHD Limited Edition 65 inches 4K LED TV LTDN65XT800XWAU3D.  Many buyers get confused between the above mentioned model and VU's 65 inches Iconium series UHD 4K LED TV LTDN65XT800XWAU3D as specifications of both of these LED TVs on paper appear more or less the same. However, in actuality the dissemblance becomes quite glaring once these too TVs are displayed side by side. The Limited Edition 4k TV of VU has 3 features, Pixelight HDR Technology, Ultra Dimming and Ultra Smooth Motion Rate working in coherence to catapult its picture quality to stunning levels. Picture detailing and upscaling feature is fabulously remarkable on XT800, which also has dual backlight technologies, scanning and blinking. Fast moving objects don't get blurred, so action movies and games are a real treat on this LED TV.

XT800 has been graced by an ELED LED display, whereas, its elder counterpart XT780 has an EDGE LED display.
VU's Iconium series UHD 4K LED XT780 misses out on these features. Though, in isolation it stands tall amongst all other LED TVs of its genre, once it comes face to face with its own family member LTDN65XT800XWAU3D, the lacunae get evident!
VU 65 Inches 4K UHD Iconium Series LED TV
Iconium series 65 inches LED TV also lags behind in the sound quality. Vu's Premium Ultra UHD TV comes loaded with Dolby Digital which takes the sound quality way ahead of XT780. The Iconium series UHD TV also lacks dual audio feature which is present in its counterpart.
The 65 inches Iconium series also fails to keep pace with the refresh rate of its counterpart 65 inches Premium UHD LED TV as it is only 60 Hz in comparision to the 100 Hz of the latter. This makes XT800 quite fast while surfing the web or playing videos.
Aesthetically too, XT800, stands much ahead of XT780, with its brushed steel ultra slim design and aluminium frame. The premium finishing of the table top stand too compliments the beautifully designed body of LTDN65XT800XWAU3D.

The only arena where XT780 gets to beat its counterpart is in power consumption. The Iconium series 65 inches 4k LED TV is a power saver as it consumes only 150 Watts whereas XT800 sucks at 220 Watts. Initially, XT800 was being marketed for Rs 156000/- while XT780 had a price tag of Rs 136000/- but now with the difference in there prices getting narrowed down, LTDN65XT800XWAUD is definitely a better buy as it is a winner in all aspects with much more brownie points to its credit than it counterpart. And, then, LTDN65XT780XWAU3D has been discontinued by the company, so its always better to go with the latest model.
