Xiaomi hints at the release of a new series of TVs, Mi TV 5 & Xiaomi Mi TV 5 Pro
The teaser hints at a TV with very high peak brightness apart from a colour reproduction that can only be achieved through Quantum Dots.
Stating its TV to be "Quantum Leap Ahead", Xiaomi has hinted that the Mi TV 5 Pro would be a QLED TV. It is expected to be available in 3 sizes 55, 65 & 75 inches. Most probably the TV would be released in the last week of this month.

Mi TV 5 would be a 4k TV, whereas, Mi TV 5 Pro is expected to come with a QLED display. Both TVs are expected to come with HDR10 as well as Dolby Vision support. These TVs will have Android operating system apart from Patchwall launcher.
Mi TV 5 will come with 3GB RAM & 32GB storage, whereas, Mi TV 5 Pro is expected to come with 4GB RAM & 64 GB storage. These TVs are expected to come with a 12nm Amlogic Chip, which would support 8k videos recording. As these TVs would be more premium than Mi TV 4X, their prices will certainly be on the higher side. Mi TV 5 is expected to start at a price of Rs 40000, whereas, the 55-inch Mi TV 5 Pro is expected to carry a price of Rs 50000.
