Today, I have brought you the countdown of the best TVs in 2023. We are initiating this series, with the top 65 and 55 inches TVs. This countdown would remain the same for both of these sizes. All these are the top TVs in 2023, and, as it is not possible to keep them all in the top ranks, we have ranked them according to their picture quality and cons. I have cited the Pros and Cons of these TVs, you can select one out of them according to your budget and requirements. I have done review of almost all the TVs included in this countdown, if you want you can watch their full-fledged review on my Youtube channel

11. Samsung Crystal Pro

So now, let's start this countdown with the 11th-ranked TV. Samsung Crystal Pro is a decent TV from a higher brand, whose picture quality is good, which will not disappoint you. However, there are better TVs in the market, and, this is the reason why we have kept it in the 11th rank. Talking about the downsides of this TV, Samsung Crystal Pro does not come with very good brightness nor does it support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. While playing Dolby Vision videos you do feel the brunt as HDR10+ fails to be a good substitute for Dolby Vision. However, this TV comes with HDMI eARC, through which, you can connect any Dolby Atmos soundbar or Home theater with this TV and enjoy Dolby Atmos audio on it. The viewing angles of this TV are also not good, because of which, it is not suitable for wide seating arrangements like big halls. However, it is a good deal for those, whose budget is less, but they are very cautious regarding the aftersales services.

10. Sony X74K TV

On the 10th rank lies the Sony X74K TV. Though you do not get Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision even on this TV, it constitutes a better deal than the Samsung Crystal Pro TV as it comes with good viewing angles and more detail clarity along with color accuracy. This TV is a perfect deal for those who are not hard-core Netflix lovers, would just be watching normal OTT content or channels on a set-top box, and, are desirous of buying a TV of any higher brand, whose after-sales services are reliable.

9. Sony X75K TV

sony x75k

On the 9th rank stands the Sony X75K TV. This TV is from a higher brand, whose built-quality is good and aftersales services reliable. This TV performs a tad better than the Sony X74K TV. Its motion handling capacity is better than X74K, however, on this TV also, there is no support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Apart from this, the brightness is low. This TV is good for watching normal content, however, Netflix lovers will not get that exhilarating experience on this TV that can be obtained on other good Dolby Vision TVs, having high brightness.

8. LG UQ7500 TV

On the 8th rank lies the LG UQ7500 TV. The picture quality of this TV is pretty good. Of late, LG TVs have shown a good improvement in their brightness and motion-handling capacity. Previously LG TVs displayed much motion blur, but now, it is not that visible. This LG TV is a fairly good one, however, this TV also does not come with support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. If Netflix is not your priority, then this TV is a pretty good choice for watching other content. The vast service network of this company is an added attraction for buying this TV.

7. Toshiba QLED TV

On the 7th rank lies the Toshiba QLED TV. This is a Full Array Local Dimming TV, on which, you get decent brightness, along with a good picture and audio quality. However, this FALD TV is marred by blooming. If you keep this TV at a little low level, blooming will be very visible, and blooming is also evident from the sides. The picture quality of this TV is good, but it cannot be said to be the best. During dark HDR scenes, the urge for more brightness is felt. As this TV is also manufactured by the Hisense company, its aftersale services are not good. The services are unresponsive, and because of this, you might face problems in the future.

6. Hisense Tornado 2.0 TV

On the sixth rank lies the Hisense Tornado 2.0 TV. This is a good TV, which comes with the latest features like support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The brightness is decent, which is better than the other TVs mentioned in this countdown below it. Along with the picture and audio quality, its viewing angle is also good. However, it is inferior in picture quality to the previously released Hisense Tornado model. After getting established in the Indian market, the quality of Hisense TVs has plummeted. In comparison to the European countries, the quality of Hisense TVs in India is inferior. Here, their aftersale services are also pathetic! The company has allocated its aftersales services to such third parties that do not respond to complaints. And, even without attending to the complaints, they close the issue by declaring it as completed. The poor aftersales services of Hisense in India, make their fairly good TVs, a not-so-good deal.

5. Blaupunkt QLED TV and the other is Thomson QLED TV

On the 5th rank lie two TVs from the same company, one is Blaupunkt QLED TV and the other is Thomson QLED TV. In respect of their picture quality, both these TVs are outstanding. If we only consider the picture quality, then because of more brightness, they can beat in picture quality, the Hisense U7H TV, placed on the second rank in this countdown, however, the smoothness in scene transition that is seen on Hisense U7H TV cannot be found on any of the TVs having low refresh rate. The performance of both these TVs is almost similar. However, on Blaupunkt TV, you get a little more powerful bass. Both these are very good QLED TVs, but their aftersales services are not that good. Though, after pursuing the company you can get your work done, obtaining prompt services from the company is certainly an issue.

4. Vu GloLED TV

On the fourth rank lies the Vu GloLED TV. The company claims that it has provided better technology on this TV than any QLED TV. According to them, this technology is capable of enhancing colors to a large extent. This TV is an overall good package, on which, along with good picture quality, you get powerful audio. The brightness of this Vu GloLED TV is better than the TVs standing on the second and third rank of this countdown, because of which its HDR and Dolby Vision performance is better. Leaving aside the top-ranked TV, this low-cost TV gives a better HDR and Dolby Vision performance than all other TVs in this countdown. Coming at a low price, this TV constitutes a very good package even for Netflix lovers. Dark HDR scenes play beautifully on this TV as it maintains brightness even while playing HDR videos. However, the viewing angle of this TV is not good, because of which it is not fit for big rooms that have wide seating arrangements. If we talk about aftersale services, then this is the only Indian brand in the budget category that provides you with fair aftersales services. In the cities where they have no service network, there, they tie up with local technicians and provide you with doorstep services.

8. Sony X80k TV

On the third rank is the Sony X80k TV. This TV deserves this rank due to its high brand value, well-built quality, and vast service network. The picture quality and viewing angles of this TV are good, however, it lacks adequate brightness because of which some TVs ranked even below it, performs better in dark scenes. Hardly any upgradation has been seen in the 2022 models of Sony TVs. In comparison to the Sony X80k, there was more brightness on Sony X80J TV. However, under the 1 lakh category, this is the only Sony TV that comes with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. Though most of the time, motion is controlled on this TV, people who are more sensitive to motion blur can still see blur on it.

2. Hisense U7H TV

On the second rank lies the Hisense U7H TV. This TV has been placed on the second rank as it is the only TV at this price point that comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate. For gamers, this is the only TV at this price, which comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1. This is a good TV, however, there are two factors that do not make it the best deal. One is, its brightness, which is even lower than the Vu GloLED TV, and, the other is, its HDR and Dolby Vision performance, which cannot be said to be very good. On Vu GloLED TV, you get better Dolby Vision and HDR performances, however, the best quality of this TV is that it comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate, because of which, you get to see a smooth scene transition on it, which enhances the overall viewing experience. When Hisense TVs were launched in India, they came with good brightness, however, now, the company has reduced the brightness of its TVs, which is disappointing. When this TV was launched, it was overpriced, which I had criticized in my video, but now, the company has removed the bundled Fire TV stick that came along with it, and, reduced its price, which makes this TV a good deal now. Though it comes with the Vidaa OS, the need for Android OS is not felt that much, as this TV comes preloaded with almost all favorite Indian applications, excluding Hotstar. The major dampener is the aftersales service of this company which is not good at all.

1. Vu Masterpiece Glo TV

The top-ranking TV is the Vu Masterpiece Glo TV. Under the 1 lakh category, this is the only TV that comes with around 700 Nits brightness, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos support, apart from a 120 Hz refresh rate. Here, I would like to clear one of your confusions. Many people ask me if they are not gamers, would it be appropriate for them to spend more on a 120 Hz TV? The answer is yes, certainly! When there is a camera panning scene on a low refresh rate TV, i.e., when the camera moves fast from one end to the other, to record a scene, they are unable to display the scene that smoothly, which a high refresh rate TV can do. Similarly, fast-moving objects, like a cricket ball, show a smoother transition on higher refresh rate TVs. You get a smooth scene transition on both, Hisense U7H & Vu Masterpiece Glo TVs. Because of the good brightness, the Vu Masterpiece TV exhibits a very good HDR and Dolby Vision performance. Apart from this, the TV is fully-appropriate for rooms having wide seating arrangements. Good picture and audio quality, along with, its 120 Hz refresh rate, make this TV a very good deal. As far as its aftersales services are concerned, I have already stated that they can be easily obtained on approaching the company.

Now, there must be some people who would ask me why I have not included Samsung The Frame TV in this countdown, so here, I would like to tell them that Samsung The Frame is indeed an aesthetically pleasing TV, whose looks deserve appreciation, but there is nothing special in its picture quality that urges us to spend so much on its purchase. The HDR performance of this TV is not good and its viewing angles are poor. This TV is more appropriate for those, who rather than being keen on the best picture quality, are more attracted to its Ambient Art Mode and are eager to flaunt it in their living rooms. This TV is just suitable for watching normal content. If you are expecting a performance, equivalent to its high price, you will be utterly disappointed.

So, this much is only for today, hope you liked this article, take care and stay safe.
