Nokia 2020 TV: A Complete Package That Comes In Budget
The Nokia 50 inches TV is an all-rounder that proposes to offer a complete package to those looking forward to buying an Android TV with very good picture quality as well as audio.

The Box in which the TV comes is minimalistic with only the company's name & model number printed on it.
Inside the box, along with the TV, comes a wall-mount, 4 screws, 2-piece table-top stand, power cord, remote, 2 A+++ batteries, mini AV cable and a user manual guide.
The table-top stand is metallic with an Aluminum finish and an overall stylish design. The TV is almost bezel-less and a sound-bar comes fused-in, in its lower bezel. The sound-bar gets a grey fabric finish. Nokia branding has been given in the centre, while on the right side, there is a badge on which sound by Onkyo comes inscribed.

On the rear, this TV bears a clean black finish with a minimalistic design. Overall in looks, this TV is tall and stylish, with good built quality.

At the back, on the left side, there is a power port, while the remaining ports are given on the right side. There are 3 HDMI and 2 USB ports along with a headphone jack, mini AV port and an audio-video port. HDMI ARC and CEC both are present on this TV along with a single-band Wi-Fi. Apart from this, you also get Google Chromecast, Bluetooth and Google Assistant on this TV.

The remote is minimalistic, which reminds of the remote that we get with the Mi Android TV box. The remote comes with direct buttons to Netflix & Zee5.
Specifications of Nokia TV
This TV comes with DLED backlighting and a Max Brite VA panel. It supports HDR10 and displays micro-dimming.
The brightness is 380 Nits and the static contrast ratio is 5000:1. The refresh rate of this TV is 60 Hz.
This TV comes with the Android Pie operating system. The processor is Quad-core & the Graphic Processor, too, is Quad-core Mali 470. The RAM is 2 GB and the internal storage is 16 GB. Mostly all applications are very well there on this TV and it has Google PlayStore from where one can download applications. This TV also gives the liberty to side-load outside applications like Oreo TV.

The UI of this Nokia TV is fast & responsive. The foremost good thing about this TV is that you get the option of voice search even inside applications, which is generally not available there in most of the budget TVs. The voice command feature, too, is highly responsive, which follows command instantly.
This TV has a 48 Watts QuatroX speaker set-up from Onkyo with 6D sound & Dolby Digital decoding. This audio set-up includes 18 Watts Tweeters and dynamic amplification technology.
PICTURE QUALITY NOKIA TV WITH ONKYO SOUND
Leaving aside the specifications mentioned by the company, now, let us talk about the ground reality. Testing this TV rigorously, for a week, we came to the conclusion that the ground reality of this TV was not far from the company's claim. The brightness of this TV is pretty good. This time the company's claim of 380 Nits brightness is almost true. The dirty screen effect and banding, usually seen in budget TVs, is very less in this Nokia TV.
Its picture quality is pretty good and a major improvement can be seen over the last year's models that came with ADS panels. 4k video quality is remarkably good. There is an amazing clarity in details, along with the pictures displaying deep Blacks.
The colour reproduction is fairly good. You get to see bright and vivid colours on this TV. Dark scenes, too, display amazing detail clarity. The picture upscaling capability of this TV is pretty good. FHD & 720p videos play in up-scaled resolution with good clarity. When connected to a set-top box, HD channels look good on this TV, and SD channels, too, are fair enough, keeping in mind that this is a 4k TV.

Alike other budget TVs having a 50 or 60 Hz refresh rate, this TV, too, fails to stop motion blur, which is unavoidable during fast action scenes. Apart from Sony's MotionFlow Technology, none of the technologies, including MEMC, Ultra Smooth Motion, or any other, is able to reduce motion blur.
The single-band Wi-Fi of this TV gives a pretty stable connection. If your Internet speed is good, you can smoothly play 4k videos on this TV without any buffering. We tested this TV in our studio, a floor above the place where my Wi-Fi Modem was placed and we did not face any problem. Please note here, that my Broadband Internet Speed is only 40 Mbps.
The Onkyo speaker system of this TV delivers the superb audio clarity and is pretty loud too. The system creates a considerable bass, too, but it does not overpower the audio clarity. Music & dialogues both sound very good on this TV. You certainly won't need any home theatre with this TV, unless you want to hear a window-rattling bass.
This TV comes with 2-way Bluetooth connectivity. You can play the songs stored on your phone on this TV and also connect this TV with your Bluetooth soundbar.
This TV also comes with a RAM cleaner, World Clock, and Wi-Fi speed test application.
However, we found its Chromecast to be laggy. We tried connecting the TV with two of our phones, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus & Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, but casting through both these phones turned out to be laggy.

For casting from iPhone, iShare has been provided on this TV, however, we were unable to test iShare, as we did not have any Apple phone with us.
This Nokia TV is a complete package with superb audio, very good picture quality & a smooth Android experience. The brightness of this TV is better than Motorola TV, because of which you get to see better picture clarity in Nokia. And, definitely, its audio, as well as picture upscaling is better than Motorola.
Now, coming to after-sales services, both Motorola & Nokia services are looked after by Jeeves as these TVs are Flipkart's offerings.
